Rahbar

Means ‘one who shows the path’. This programme facilitates sharing of experiences and insights of the organizations. Organizations with remarkable interventions on various issues of human rights are invited to talk about their journey, experiences, learning, and achievements. The program is conducted in collaboration with department of Social-work, Gujarat Vidyapeeth, Ahmedabad, where in students are sharing responsibilities of organizing a program, documentation etc. Every year selected Rahbar programmes are published in the booklet.

Exposure visits

Exposure tours are being organized on selected themes by Janpath. These visits are another initiative by JANPATH to create mutual interactions, learning and adoption of activities by small community based organizations. The visits are usually organized for two to three days. The participants are grass roots and middle level workers from various VOS and CBOs.

The main objective of this program is to strengthen networking among member organizations, build linkages between grass roots workers, and facilitates sharing of ideas and experiences and to adopt new activities, practices and approaches.
Following Exposure Visits were conducted till date:

  1. Various models of Organic Farming & marketing
  2. Water harvesting and conservation models.
  3. Women’s Participation in Village development.
  4. Exposure Visit for Khadi making units
  5. Exposure visit Along the coast of Gujarat to know livelihood issues.
